My Version of the Jungle Book Part 1
Chapter 1: Adoption in the Jungle As the sun rose up over the Seoni Jungle, Monkeys began to swing and birds began to sing as Colonel Hathi lead his heard on the daily dawn patrol. “Hup two three four, keep it up two three four.” The bipedal elephants chanted as they marched through the jungle. As the elephants continued their march, a brown humanoid kite flew overhead and called down to them saying, “Attention Colonel Hathi.” Upon hearing the Kite call to him, Colonel Hathi stopped dead in his tracks, raised his right hand and said to his herd in a commanding tone saying, “Company Halt!” Upon hearing their leader’s command, the entire herd came to a complete. Once the herd had stopped moving, Hathi looked up at the kite and said to him in a loud voice saying, “Top of the morning Chil, how goes it?” The kite Hathi addressed started hovering over head and called down to Hathi saying, “Just thought I’d warn you, Shere Khan the tiger and his gang of scavengers
